The Florida Society of the Social Sciences (formerly SSSUF) is a student-run organization that strives to foster the development of research within the social sciences and to provide an environment of collegiality and cooperation among young scholars.
Headquartered out of the Department of Sociology and Criminology & Law, FSSS sponsors the annual Conference of the Social Sciences, as well as several publication workshops throughout the year. It began in 2005 following the success of the Inaugural Conference.
